How to react when confronted with mother cows and their calves
Mother cows protect their calves. Keep your distance!
Thank you for abiding by the following three rules:

Don’t scare the animals – watch with respect from a distance.
2.
You should not normally leave the trails. If the cows are in the way, then make your way a good distance away from them, even if you have to go across the alpine meadows.
3.
Dogs can upset the animals. Please keep your dogs a good distance away.
